Yan'an is a famous old revolutionary base area in China, the place where the Red Revolution started, and the place where Chairman Mao put forward to \"do it yourself, ample food and clothing\". It was a place recorded in history where more than 20,000 soldiers and civilians defeated 250,000 enemy troops. So, I came to be here.
One feature of Yan'an is the cave dwellings. There are no Windows around the cave, not ventilated and transparent, low and cold. The older generation of proletarian revolutionaries lived in such caves. Cave dwellings also became the source of the revolution. Chairman Mao's cave where Chairman Mao had ever lived was the best, but it was also very small. In order to show their respect for the chairman, the people of Yan'an specially built a \"toilet\" for him beside the cave. It was just a small earthen wall, a small wooden fence, and a wooden bathtub inside. The \"luxury suite\" is even built. At that time, Yan'an was the command center for fighting the Japanese aggressors, preventing civil war and planning to liberate
the whole of China, which was the heart of the revolution. Chairman MAO and the other four members of the Standing Committee developed a complete set of revolutionary strategies. Chairman MAO's \"On the Protracted War against Japanese Aggression\Serving the People \dwellings, and became the ideological weapons guiding the Chinese revolution. Unity between the army and the people and the team unity has become a noble atmosphere. Commander-in-chief Zhu De's room contained a spring-loaded soft-seat sofa, which Chairman MAO gave to him himself. He himself sat in wooden chairs and wooden sofas.
Chairman MAO was always strict with himself and his family in the most difficult years. After his son MAO Anying returned to Yan 'an from a Soviet university, he took his son's hand and said to him, \" You have graduated from a foreign university, and you have not graduated from a Chinese university yet. You also have to go to the 'labor university' to study hard.\"So, he took his son to the local model workers and became an\" intern farmer \" in Yan'an.
In ancient times, in the peasant uprising, many peasant armies
were only one step away from success, but because they were separated from the masses, in the pursuit of pleasure, they lost the support of the people, and finally collapsed. But this was not true of the proletarian revolutionaries of the older generation. They were close to the masses, cared about their sufferings, respected the workers and peasants, and never assumed the dignity of their leaders. The officers and soldiers agreed together, and the army and the people agreed together, and won the love and support of the people. Imagine, without the farmers growing food for them, with no workers making weapons for them, even if you are full of knowledge, without the people's support, what? It is because the leaders and the people are heart to heart that the great unity of the revolution, the invincible force, and the great feat of resisting against Japan and liberating the whole of China. We call Yan'an is the cradle of the revolution, which is really worthy of the name.
Yan 'an is not a barren land, but a rich spiritual home; Yan' an is not an ordinary town, but always shining red glorious shrine!
