【篇⼀】简单好背的3分钟英语演讲稿 Hello everyone!
i am happy to join with you today in what will go down in history as the greatest demonstration for freedom in the historyof our nation.
five score years ago, a great american, in whose symbolic shadow we stand today, signed the emancipation
proclamation. this momentous decree came as a great beacon light of hope to millions of negro slaves who had been searedin the flames of withering injustice. it came as a joyous daybreak to end the long night of their captivity.
but one hundred years later, the negro still is not free. one hundred years later, the life of the negro is still sadlycrippled by the manacles of segregation and the chains of discrimination. one hundred years later, the negro lives on alonely island of poverty in the midst of a vast ocean of material prosperity. one hundred years later, the negro is still
languished in the corners of american society and finds himself an exile in his own land. and so we've come here today todramatize a shameful condition.
in a sense we've come to our nation's capital to cash a check. when the architects of our republic wrote the
magnificent words of the constitution and the declaration of independence, they were signing a promissory note to whichevery american was to fall heir. this note was a promise that all men, yes, black men as well as white men, would beguaranteed the "unalienable rights" of "life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness." it is obvious today that america hasdefaulted on this promissory note, insofar as her citizens of color are concerned. instead of honoring this sacred
obligation, america has given the negro people a bad check, a check which has come back marked "insufficient funds."
Thank you!

Good morning, it's my honor to stand here and give you this speech about dreams. There I want to start my speechwith two short stories.
The first story happened when I was in primary school, I wrote in my composition that my dream was to be a teacherwhen I grew up. Meanwhile, what my classmates wrote about their dreams was that he or she wanted to be a doctor, ascientist or an astronaut.
The second story happened at my first year in university. At the careers planning class, when the teacher asked aboutour dreams, one of my classmates stood up and said, “I want to be a farmer, because I grow up in a farmer's familyand I love to be engaged in agriculture.” When he sat down, everyone clapped.
These two stories happened during my growth process, from which I got my understanding of dreams. When I was achild I believed that a dream must be a big dream, but when I grow up I find this big dream is so far away from me, I knowlittle about it, and I have done nothing to achieve it, so it's not my dream. My classmate's answer let me know a realdream is not just about being a great man, or doing a great job, it's about what you really want to be, and are willing totry every effort to pursue it.
Because what makes a dream valuable is not just about the result, it's also about the process, the process whenyou are trying, when you are struggling, when you failed and restarted again and again, because of the process,
dreams can be meaningful and become your wealth. Thank you.
