二、教学目标[Teaching Aims]:
1.知识与技能[Knowledge and skills]:
通过学习使学生掌握词汇: stayed, visited, went, did, mountains, summer camp, museum和Where did ....?这一句型。
2.过程与方法[Processes and methods]:
通过学习使学生掌握一般过去时的用法,并能就假期里自己所做的事情做简单表达。通过大面积操练,采用学生提出问题,学生解决问题,借助媒体来提高学生的主动性。以此培养学生的交际能力。
3.情感态度及价值观[Emotion , attitudes and value] :
通过学习本课增强学生的活动能力、用一般过去时进行信息交流,学会合作
培养逻辑表达能力。
三、教学重、难点[Important and Difficult points] :
重点:
l. The vocabulary:New York City, summer camp, museum.
2. Language:Where did you/they/he/she go on vacation? I/They/He/She went to the mountains/ New York City/ beach /summer camp.
难点:
Use the language to talk about past events.

六、教学过程[Teaching procedures]:
Step 1 Preparation
1.Greeting each other !
2.Dictation ten phrases .
Two students write words on the blackboard , others write words at seats ,then check the words.
3.Give a word \"yesterday\students speak out in the past by using the phrases.
(Dictation部分使学生身心行为从其他的活动迁移到英语学习中来,结合即将要学习的内容,进行有针对性的语言知识复习,为后续的学习做好铺垫.)
Step 2 Presentation
1.Read the sentences on the screen.
2.Guessing game.
Students can practice language:
Where did you/they/he/she go on vacation?
I/They/He/She went to the mountains/ New York City/ beach /summer camp
3.Focus attention on the picture.(1a)
Name each activity and ask students to repeat;Check the answers.
(通过观察图片,搭配,阅读校正答案,朗读词组活动,在具体的环境中呈现本课的目标语言,在这里先做一个简单的练习,符合语言的接受过程,易于掌握。)
Step 3 Practice

Point out the example conversation.
Ask two students to read the dialogue to the class.
2. Ask students work with a partner.

Presentation This activity gives students practice in understanding the target language in spoken conversation.
1)Point to the picture on the screen then play the recording twice.
2)Correct the answers.(At last raise their hands to tell the result)
(结组活动,充分练习目标语言,在以听力的方式集中呈现本课的重点词汇和语言结构,考察学生对本内容的把握度及训练听,说,读,写的能力。)
Step 4 Production

2.Group work.
