4. Procedure Details

4.1 Production Engineering

4.1.1. Receive and check new / transferred tooling for any visual damage. Acknowledge the

Delivery Order if tooling is in good condition. In the event when any non-conformance is discovered, inform Project Engineering. Project Engineering is to follow up with supplier / customer.

4.1.2. For transferred tooling, raise work order and route the tooling to vendor’s Tool-Room for

inspection and marking / numbering.

4.1.3. Upon receiving the tooling from vendor’s Tool-Room, review the Tooling checklist and if it

is a new tooling, review tooling report together with Project Engineering & Production. Liaise with Project Engineering and Production Control for mold testing.

4.2 Production

4.2.1. Perform mold testing and record the data in the Molding Process Determination Form. 4.3 Production Engineering

4.3.1. Update Molding Data Sheet.

4.3.2. Update Tooling Mold Life Records. 4.3.3. Update Tooling Checklist.
