摘要：PURPOSE:To prevent flawing, etc. on the surfaces of a lens in the stage of fixingthe lens to a jig, etc. by providing horizontal faces on the surfaces of the lens except itseffective faces, perpendicularly to the optical axis direction thereof and providingprojected or recessed parts in the optical axis direction on said faces.

CONSTITUTION:Horizontal faces 1a, 2a are formed, perpendicularly to the optical axisdirection, on the lens faces 1, 2 of a plastic lens except its effective faces, and projectedparts 1b and depressed parts 2b are provided in said parts in the positions opposite toeach other at, for example, in the four circumferential places at every other 90 deg..Recessed parts 3a fitting to the projected parts 1b of the lens are beforehand formedaround the one face of a jig 3 for fixing the lens and the projected parts 1b of the lens 1are fitted into the parts 3a, whereby the lens is fixed to the jig 3 without damaging theeffective faces of the lens.
