摘要：Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, a method includingreceiving, by a processing system, data from a plurality of machine-to-machine (M2M)communication devices, and aggregating the data to generate local information. The
method can also include receiving and analyzing a message, from a user communicationdevice, that includes a request regarding an M2M communication device. If the requestcannot be responded to based on the local information, a query is transmitted to theM2M communication device based on the analyzing, and a reply to the query is receivedfrom the M2M communication device. The processing system receives the data andtransmits the query message within the premises using millimeter-wave communicationsor WiFi communications. Other embodiments are disclosed.
