教学目标:
1. 通过听例词发音,观察例词中的共有特征,能够感知并归 纳字母组合ir和ur在单词中的发音规则。
2.通过读单词、听音圈词的活动强化记忆ir和ur的发音规则,能够读出符合ir和ur发音规则的单词。
3.能够在图片的提示下,根据单词的读音拼写出符合ir和ur发音规则的单词,补全短语、句子,并在四线三格中工整规范地写出来。 教学重点:

Step 1: Warm-up & Lead-in
1. Greetings.
2. Enjoy a song—Phonics song.
Teaching purpose:欣赏歌曲《Phonics song》,创设英语语
音教学氛围,复习26个字母的发音,为本课后面的学习做铺垫。 3. Lead-in.
Show a picture on the PPT. (课件出示:一只鸟受伤的图片) T: What's this? Ss: It's a bird.
T: Look! What's wrong with the bird? Ss: It's hurt.
T: Who can help the bird? Now let's listen.
Step 2: Presentation
1. Listen to the chant. (出示课件)
Play the recording of the chant. Students listen to the chant for the first time.
T: Who can help the bird? Ss: The little girl.
Show the picture on the PPT. (课件出示:小女孩救助鸟的图片)Write down the word “girl” on the blackboard. Write “ir” in red chalk.
Then the teacher asks the next question. T: How can the girl help the bird? Ss: Take the bird to the nurse.
Show the picture on the PPT. (课件出示:护士图片)
2. Read and find.
Play the recording again. (出示课件)
Students read the words and perceive the pronunciations of the words.
3. Summarize the pronunciation rules.
Lead students to summarize the pronunciation rules.
T: The letter combinations “ir” and “ur” both pronounce “/
ɜː /” in these words.

Show some new words (girl, bird, birth, first, thirty, hurt, nurse, hamburger, turn, burn) on the PPT. Students try to read them. (出示课件).

Step 3: Practice
1. Read, listen and circle.
(1) Students read the words by themselves. (2) Play the recording. (出示课件) Students listen and circle the words they heard. (3) Check the answers.
(4) Try to make phrases or sentences by using these words.
2. Look, listen and write. Teaching purpose:
引导学生对所听内容进行预测和推断,对学生进行有效的听力技巧指导,并且通过该活动帮助学生进一步巩固发音规则,达到听音能写词的目的。

Students read the story. Then they find the words with the letter combination “ir” or “ur” 3. Show time.
Step 5: Homework
1. Read the chant or the story to your family.
2. Try to find more words that have “ir” or “ur and
pronounce “/ɜː /”.
