摘要：An aircraft wing (2) comprising a load transfer apparatus arranged to transfertransverse shear loads from a first component such as a wing skin (3a) to a second,
adjacent component such as a wing skin (4a). The apparatus comprises a master interlock,and a plurality of slave interlocks. Each master interlock comprises a master malemember (7) received in a master female member (11) to form the master interlock. Eachof the plurality of slave interlocks comprises a slave male member (9) received in acorresponding female member (13) to form the slave interlocks. The master male (7) andfemale members (11) are sufficiently stiff that the master male member (7) and themaster female member are fixed (11), whereas the slave male and/or female members (9,13) are less stiff than the master male (7) and female members (11) such that the slavemale and/or female members (9, 13) are able to tolerate some movement, in thetransverse direction.
