• 不完全爆破
1. 辅音/p/,/b/,/t/,/d/,/k/,/g/是爆破音。当一个爆破音的后面紧跟着另一个爆破音时,
前一个爆破音只按其发音部位做好发音口形、形成阻碍,而不爆破出来,稍微停顿后即发出后面的辅音,这种现象称为不完全爆破。 spectacular/spe(k)ˈtækjulɚ/ countdown/ˈ kaun(t)daun/ great power/grei(t) ˈpaʊɚ/ victim/ˈ vi(k)tim/ 2.
英语音标中还有一种摩擦音,它们是/f/,/v/,/s/,/ z/,/dz/,/ts/,/h/ ,当爆破音

• 弱读音节:从词性上看,它们大多为单音节的限定词,助动词,be 动词、介词、和人称代词等,如:

• 英美音发音区别
英美音差异主要反映在字母a, o,r 的不同读音上 1) 字母a 英式读作/a:/,美式则读作/æ/ e.g. ask, can‘t, dance, fast 2) 字母o 英式读作/ɔ/,美式则读作近似/a/ e.g. box, hot, pot
3) 字母r 英式读音中不含卷舌音/r/,而美语的r 音节中含卷舌音/r/ e.g. car, river, door, party, board

原 文 :Now, let’s move on to low-context culture. A low-context culture is just the opposite. A low-context culture is one in which the message, the event, or the action is of separate entity, having meaning onto itself, regardless of the surroundings or the context. That the message, the event, the action has meaning in itself. So what this means in a low-context culture is that people pay more attention to the event itself, rather than to the context which surrounds the event or the message.

若停顿前的意群主谓宾结构已经完整,且后面是有独立主谓宾结构的另一意群,前面停顿处即为句号。

若前后两个分句在意思上是独立的,但两句中间有连词连接(如 and,but,then, thus,so,because 等),则两句间或连词前仍用逗号.

句首的副词、时间状语、地点状语、不定式等形式后面一般需有逗号
